Sloth-by what modern writers would now describe as melancholy: apathy, depression, and joylessness
Admit it! We all have the sins of sloth inside us. For the last year, (the year that I graduated from University with a bachelor of fine art degree, the year that I first realized there are nothing much I can do with a fine art degree, the year that I lose all hope of finding a desirable job), sloth had truly consume me! I lost my motivation right after the 4 times I got rejected from a position; dreams for being a commercial photographer seems so far away when all you ever do daily is to make sure the shipping order is right. In another word, 2008 had been the worst year in my life, period! Yet, I still hold down on my hope, my desire is still ever strong. For what it seems like an eternity, light finally shine upon me! I got my wish granted, I now work as an intern for an extremely nice freelance fashion photographer. However, time will tell if I can change from an intern to an assistant in this photography field. Nevertheless, life is full of uncertainty, I believe I must act to change (like Obama once said) and not act as a sitting duck waiting for chance to come by. This post not only indicated my first blog post, but also my first step to fight back sloth, my desire to change, and new beginning for a better life!
